Common Battery Problem

While doing the pulley swap on my car I noticed a problem with my battery. As you can see by the photo the battery leaked acid out. To repair this I removed the battery and replaced it. Cleaned the cables, threw away the battery cover, and put a battery terminal washer kit. The kit contained washers and grease to help prevent corrosion.
